I had often wondered why after a salon visit some women had nice shiny bouncy hair.

I thought it had to do with the oils that were added to the strands during the styling process.

But recently I have come to learn that the true secret to shiny hair is rinsing the hair thoroughly for about 15 minutes non-stop under running water, after washing.
